Randy and his family booked a weekend at the Montage and invited us up for lunch at
Apex. We were surprised and disappointed to discover that Daly's was closed (their 3 kids would have loved all the Daly's activities!) for an entire month since Deer Valley Mtn closed the week before. Lunch was slow, but fantastic. The room had so much natural light pouring into the windows, something we missed completely when
we were there for dinner (which was fabulous!).

That night, I hosted a mass kid sleepover and took them to see
Rio (that blue bird animation). We all LOVED the movie! We loaded up on tons of junk food
—Cold Stone, Sour Patch Kids, Sour Punch Straws, popcorn, etc. Way past midnight, I was still limping around putting kids to bed! This was a perfect family movie for all ages. It was tastefully done, didn't totally scare the living daylights out of the younger ones.
